So where did Lexus implement the new changes? You have to get under the skin and go through the list of options to find it.
Lexus Ls 500 (2021) Launch Review
Let’s start with the list of modified features and options for this full-size Lexus. At launch, all models will include the Lexus + 2.5 safety system as standard.
The security package includes all the features of the previous version, but there are some changes in hardware and software.
This PCS also includes Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Emergency Braking (AEB) as well as Pedestrian and Cyclist Detection.
As an option, a Mark Levinson audio system is available on the current LS 500. This means you don’t need to check out other upgrade package options to enjoy the sound system.

Starting with the 2022 model year, Haku manual door trim can now be specified with the Luxury and Executive packages.
The sedan gets upgraded springs and dampers for better handling. Not only that, the manufacturer has installed thicker anti-roll bars at the front and rear.
Otherwise, this model is the same as the previous one. This includes engine options ranging from an updated 3.5-liter V6 to a hybrid.
However, if you’re still looking for an LS-F, it looks like you’ll have to wait a little longer. There is no news about this news yet. The Lexus LS limousine should get suspension pads and Lexus’ latest infotainment system without the old trackpad.
This 1998 Lexus Ls 400 Will Steal Your Heart
According to dealer sources, the Lexus LS will receive several updates this year, with an October 2022 Japanese launch expected.
Notably, the current car’s old infotainment system will be featured in the updated UX and the new NX and LX.
In addition to the new look, Lexus’ new user interface offers greater support for over-the-air updates and audio suggestions.
It is not known whether the touch screen will increase in size. The current LS has a 12.3-inch screen, but an even larger 14-inch unit can be found in the new NX.

While the LS will reportedly not replace its rear L badge with the ubiquitous Lexus branding like the new NX and LX, it will lose the Lexus branding on the underside of the trunk lid.
Like other Lexus model updates, the LS500h will also lose the badge on the chest and ditch the skirt-mounted hybrid badge.
Like everything in this subcompact segment, the LS lives in Australia in the shadow of its Mercedes-Benz S-Class rival.
The completely redesigned S-Class has 74 sales today. Lexus sold eight LS sedans based on the soon-to-be-refreshed Audi A8 this year, but trails the BMW 7 Series (23) and Porsche Panamera (21).

The 2023 Lexus LS 500 and LS 500h hybrids are still poised to shock the world and steal sales from the 2023 BMW 7 Series and 2023 Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Lexus has opted for mild updates for the 2023 model year, but the focus is where it’s at. bill, which leads the charge for new technology, as well as a revised starting price of $77,535 (all prices include a $1,150 destination charge).
At first glance, it might be hard to tell the difference between the 2022 and 2023 model-year versions of the LS 500 and LS 500h, which are mostly powertrains. Step inside, though, and you’ll find a new 12.3-inch infotainment system equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as an on-demand sound system. This interface also ditches the old touchpad controller and is probably the closest to the comfort and convenience offered by the brand’s competitors. Lexus has also included more USB ports to give passengers more room to charge their mobile devices.
The 2023 Lexus LS 500 and LS 500h will hit showrooms later this year. Rear-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive adds $3,250; hybrid AWD only. The full price of the line is as follows.
The LS 500 continues to use a 416-horsepower 3.5-liter V-6 engine mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. The 500h is powered by a 3.5-liter V-6 engine mated to two electric motors for a total of 354 horsepower; it is also connected to the Lexus Teammate driver assistance system.

Essentially a Lexus IS hatchback sedan with a 5.0-liter V8, the IS 500 combines all the luxury and comfort of the more pedestrian IS models, but adds some requisite power and excitement to the mix. A 472-horsepower engine in such a compact sedan has serious sports sedan appeal, but the IS 500 still appeals more to the luxury-minded buyer than any performance enthusiast.
Lexus Ls 500h Review 2022
Debuted last year, and with no big changes expected for other IS sedans, we don’t expect the IS 500 to depart from its current form. Perhaps it will follow in the footsteps of its two-door sibling, the RC F, and offer a special edition package to keep things interesting until the next-gen IS arrives in the 2024 model year. from the addition of a manual transmission. for maximum control over those 472 horses, we can’t see what’s going on. ok
Since the IS 500 strikes a balance between luxury and performance, finding a direct rival to the Lexus is a bit difficult. Sedans like the BMW M3 and Mercedes-AMG C 43 are the first, luxury the second, with premium suspensions and aggressively tuned engines. Like the Lexus, the Genesis G70 combines the same amount of luxury and performance, but lacks the IS 500’s V8.
Equal parts luxury and muscle, the IS 500 is an interesting, if niche, choice in the compact luxury sedan segment. We love how the IS 500 combines comfort, performance and Lexus’ obsessive attention to detail, so if you’re in the market for an IS 500, we see no reason to wait another year. Also, this could be Lexus’ last V8 sedan.

The improvements to the Lexus LS start under the skin, as the shape of the mount where the rear suspension member attaches has been changed. The automaker claims that this member has made the suspension stiffer, and the suspension has been tuned to improve ride quality.
Elsewhere, Lexus has introduced 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 245/45 R20 tires as an option for the limited-edition Hideki Matsuyama Edition due in 2021.
Lexus LS models are equipped with Lexus Teammate advanced driver assistance technology, which also benefits from several performance enhancements, including cruise control. Lexus has also expanded the system’s capability to provide lane change assistance, and a display and horn will alert the driver at low-speed intersections or when approaching a vehicle.
