He contributed in 2018, before joining CarAdvice in 2019, becoming a regular contributor to the news team in 2020. For the family car enthusiast, several upgrades have been made to the Lexus ES Executive sedan for the 2023 model year. A complete overhaul of the cabin improves connectivity, one of the most important features for premium car buyers, and most Eastern and Western European markets will offer a new level of F Sport design.
Introduced in 2018 and updated in 2021, the ES is Lexus’ most popular sedan, perfect for both private and business users. Part of the appeal of this model is its class-leading comfort and simplicity, and its ease of use is at the heart of the new ES multimedia system. Aimed at improving access to information, communication and entertainment, it is faster with less effort and more work than the system it represents. New features include wireless phone integration via Apple CarPlay (or wired connectivity via Android Auto), cloud-based navigation, and voice recognition.
Lexus Es Review
Cloud-based navigation provides access to route and traffic information to plan trips easily and avoid delays, and can provide access to information on fuel prices and parking spaces. If the cloud connection should break, the integrated core system maintains Cover1.
The ES now includes “Hey Lexus” on-board assistance that responds to voice commands to make it easier to connect to phones, use audio and climate controls, and browse the Internet. It can recognize and respond to a negative response by understanding 19 different European languages - raising the temperature in the room, for example, after saying “I’m cold”.
New connectivity functions have also been achieved by upgrading the DCM1 (Data Communication Module), which enables the car to communicate with mobile networks and the Internet. For added peace of mind, it is now possible to contact e-Care. The service can advise drivers in rare cases of technical failure by analyzing vehicle data. Lexus monitors the vehicle 24/7, with e-Care health reports
